  7. Just so you know, Carolyn, I think you've embraced the winter with admirable aplomb. It's wearing thin on me, too -- and our winter is a weakling compared to what y'all go through!

Beautiful shots. Anytime that color wants to come back, it is welcome!

  10. That's exactly what I was saying today, that embracing winter is beginning to wear thin! I started off okay, but now I'm just tired of cold and snow.

  11. Just think of the good old days in your garden surrounded by beautiful flowers, the warmth of the sun shining on your back...or can just hop in my tropical garden anytime!

  12. Carolyn,
Gazing on a beautifully bright flower always helps to heat up a gardener's thoughts. I know it's been a rough winter ~~ hopefully soon signs of spring will come your way. (Thank you for visiting me and having a peek at my edible garden.)
    Have a wonderful Saturday.

  14. I certainly agree! February is the "longest month" for me. A little winter is nice, but it just drags on here in the north. In March, at least, there will be signs of new life if not much warmth. Hang in there!

  16. Hi, I found your blog and have been enjoying your photos. I think I navigated away from the page I wanted to post on---the one with the little baby birds in the nest. I've been watching a live hummer cam and think I'm addicted. Anyway I enjoy gardening and flowers. I have a wonderful garden that I'd love to share with you. When my sister passed away from Lung Cancer I started a memorial garden in her honor. That garden has grown into a magical, peaceful place. What started with a Peach Tree has now developed into a tropical showcase. I have taken over 5000 pictures of the flowers, fruit, trees and vegetables. I post them daily on my website. Please read the comments from people who have been touched by the garden's beauty and the message. www.mysisterdalesgarden.com you will find the most recent photos and comments in photo gallery 1. I'm trying to make a difference one flower at a time.
I hope to see you in the garden, Miriam
