While I was gone...
the fledglings flew
(Sigh... so sorry I missed that)
the weeds... how they grew!
(Got my Saturday's work lined up)
and my flowers struggle in the heat.
Oh-h-h,
but we had such a wonderful time away!

Beautiful dancing children. And I love your reporting on the chicadee family below. Maybe next year you'll see the babies. If you set out a feeder, perhaps they'll partake?
ReplyDeleteWelcome back! I'm glad you had a refreshing vacation, Carolyn. Gorgeous photos!
ReplyDeleteMaybe, unbeknownst to you, those fledglings will come and visit you in the garden sometimes. :)
so glad you enjoyed the dancing...looks wonderful...
ReplyDeleteThese sunset photos are amazing! Keep up all the great work!
ReplyDeleteWe think our chickadees return, year after year. It could be different ones, but we like to think it's our family. I got to see the wren babies fledge this year though - wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the post!
Elizabeth

Love the dancin' sunset. Way to impress me on my first visit. I have to attempt the effect myself. Thanks for the example.
ReplyDeleteThere was no need to challenge me. I always visit those that leave a comment. It takes more than common courtesy to make me comment though :)
What beautiful pictures. I can almost feel the warmth of the night. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteHi Meredehuit,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the nice comment on my Bloomin' Tuesday post. I planted four o' clocks because I remember my mom growing them in the narrow patch of dirt by our back door when I was a girl. Yes, you need to plant some too, and then they will keep planting themselves.
Are those your grandchildren in that awesome photo? I love both of your photos, but the one with the children is my favorite.
